Okay, maybe they’re not bizarre, per se. But can you blame me? Homonyms are fun.
Happy orange and yellow leaves and chai lattes! Or maybe you’re a hot cocoa fan? Whatever your traditions are, welcome to November: home of the turkey and the pumpkin pie. Has anyone else turned on the Christmas music yet? Maybe that’s just us…
November is going to be a busy month at Edify with lots of exciting opportunities. Let’s get started!
This Thursday, November 3rd, join us for a scrumptious learning experience at our book signing. Meet two local authors between 12pm and 2pm and read something new. Did we mention there will be doughnuts? More on that later…
Here is a little bit more about the books we’ll have.
“This book is full of classic flavors and easy methods, with recipes taste-tested and thoroughly approved by regular, gluten-eating folks. Save time and energy! Avoid artificial preservatives and coloring! Save time, money, and effort, and make recipes your whole family will love.” (excerpt from back cover)
Don’t just judge it by words, look at these mouthwatering tidbits.

Looking for something a little more fictional?
“As a war rages between Desaka and Noedia, a nation awaits deliverance and Satan’s fury waits to be unleashed. Meanwhile, the royal triplets of Noedia are poised to fulfill their divine destiny–to bring an end to the war.
Just sixteen years old, Makele, Elise, and Matt already know the godly Noedians are depending on them to bring peace to their land. As a result, the triplets must endure torture and a hell-spawned murder as the Satan-following Desakans attempt to prevent the prophesied outcome. With only their closest friends to rely on, the siblings know their time has come. But first, each of them must embark on a journey through grief, doubt, and love to discover more about themselves than they ever imagined.
In this young adult novel, teenagers shouldering a monumental responsibility soon learn that their youth is not a guard against danger and destiny as they become embroiled in a deadly battle between good and evil and the people of Noedia anxiously await freedom.”
